Brad & Nora Hayes
Outstretched Hands of Romania
Brad and Nora Hayes, along with their family, moved to Romania in 2001, and founded Outstretched Hands of Romania (OH) in January 2003. They have five children, Emily, Rebekah, Hannah, Bethany, and John.
Brad is working with local leaders in Calarasi, Romania and surrounding areas, in the following primary ways:
Preaching & teaching God’s Word
Planting churches
Developing national leaders through discipleship and mobilizing churches in creative outreach and evangelism
Nora ministers to women throughout our county as mentor and teacher, along with her important daily role as chief administrator for OH.
OH is also very involved in meeting material and medical needs for the poor. OH is a leader in Romania in Pro Life work and has received 300 international visitors each of the last 6 years. One of the goals of OH is to have a Community Centre connected to each of its 12 current churches; we have six now with the hope to have two more starting in 2020-2021. Six new church plants have also been started as of October 2018.
OH’s vision is to raise an army of children and poor to bring the gospel to the unreached parts of Romania.
