Who We Are

The Worship Ministry is a community of artists and techs on a mission to make things that point people to the truth of the gospel. We believe that our Sunday corporate worship expression should be an overflow from living a lifestyle of worship. We have the responsibility of facilitating an atmosphere of worship that glorifies God.

The people on our team reflect the beautiful diversity of our body. Our worship style is heavily influenced by the culture of our worship team members . Every worship service is both energetic praise and intimate worship. We believe that true worship is our response to God’s invitation. We are passionate about glorifying Him.

Volunteer Opportunities: The worship ministry team is made up of covenant members who are taking continued steps of maturity by actively progressing through the Discipleship Series, connecting with a Life Group and regular church attendance. These are the fundamental first steps toward involvement in the Worship Arts Ministry. There are many opportunities within the Worship Ministry to put into service individual artistic, creative and musical gifts including the SCVoices Choir, the SCPraise Team, and the SCTech Team. The Worship Arts Academy exists to equip artists to present the Gospel through the worship and technical arts. We mentor students to serve the church by equipping them with a mindset of worship (Romans 12:1) and a skillset of excellence (Psalm 33:3).

We welcome students of all ages and skill levels. Our focus is on students because our mission is to train students to serve the church. However, we offer music lessons to everyone, giving priority to students and covenant members of our church.
